APRICOT JAM
Serving: 6
Ingredients
- 1kg Apricots
- 1kg sugar
- 1 Lemon (zest & juice)
- 20grams jam setta
- 2tabs water
Instructions
- Quarter the Apricots and put them in slow cooker with all of the other ingredients (including jam setta).
- Cover with teatowel under lid and cook on high for 4 hours stirring occassionally.
- Blitz to the consistency you like. Then leave the lid off on High for 30 minutes then turn to Low for a further 30 minutes.
- Pour into sterilized jars.

This was a really easy recipes to follow and good for a jam making beginner. I reduced the sugar because my kids love jam too much! I got 4 jars out of it. Thanks for submitting it.

Hi. What could you use instead of jam setta. Or does anyone know where i could get it from in NZ please
I halved the sugar and slightly burnt the jam in my ceramic cooker so next time I won’t do as long on high. Despite that it’s very very nice apricot jam.
