Chunky Dunk Potato Bake
A lush, creamy, thick and saucy potato bake that's easy to prep and even easier to eat!
Equipment
- 3.5L slow cooker
Ingredients
- 3 large potatoes, small diced
- 1 medium sweet potato, small diced
- 1 onion, diced
- 150 grams diced bacon
- 375 ml cooking cream
- 125 ml milk
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 30 grams Spring Vegetable soup mix (dry, no water added) (1 family sachet or 2 cup of soup sachets)
- 3/4 cup grated cheddar or tasty cheese
Instructions
- Add diced vegetables and bacon to the slow cooker. Mix.
- Combine all other ingredients (except cheese) in a jug and pour over the vegetables and bacon already in the slow cooker.
- Cook on HIGH for 3hrs and then on LOW for 3hrs. Adding grated cheese in the final 20mins of cooking time to melt on top.
- Note: Before switching from high to low I made sure the potato was mostly tender.

No if my recipes ever need the tea towel trick Leanne I will always specifically say that they do.
