  • Yields: 3 to 6 shanks

Ingredients

3 carrots- chopped

1 onion- sliced

2T minced garlic

mixed herbs

2 big cans on "big red" tomato soup

1 cup of beef stock

3-6 Lamb shanks (browned with flour first)

1 cup red wine

Parsley to decorate (optional)

Corn flour to thicken sauce

Directions

1Place all ingredients in slow cooker

2Cook on low for 6hrs

This is a must dish to try – so full of flavour & no effort. The only adjustment I made was in the liquid – I used the soup & 1/2 cup beef stock in total. Thoroughly enjoyed & so glad there’s leftovers for another meal😋😋

Any you could use stock instead

If only doing 3 shanks do I halve this recipe?
