Ingredients
 

  • 3 carrots- chopped
  • 1 onion- sliced
  • 2T minced garlic
  • mixed herbs
  • 2 big cans on "big red" tomato soup
  • 1 cup of beef stock
  • 3-6 Lamb shanks (browned with flour first)
  • 1 cup red wine
  • Parsley to decorate (optional)
  • Corn flour to thicken sauce

Instructions
 

  • Place all ingredients in slow cooker
  • Cook on low for 6hrs

  1. This is a must dish to try – so full of flavour & no effort. The only adjustment I made was in the liquid – I used the soup & 1/2 cup beef stock in total. Thoroughly enjoyed & so glad there’s leftovers for another meal??

    Made this last night. I only used 1 can of soup and maybe a little more stock. Had 4 lamb shanks and just added more vegetables. Added mushrooms and some potatoes. Loved it and was tasty as well.
