EmailTweet 0 Full-screen Diced Ox heart in a Tomato & Onion Gravy Game Meat April 3, 2020 Diced Ox heart in a Tomato & Onion Gravy 0 0 5 0 Prep: 20 mins Cook: 4 hrs 20 mins 4 hrs 4 hrs 20 mins Yields: 4 servings Ingredients1 ox heart diced + cornflour for dusting 3 onions sliced 1 Tbs minced garlic 1 punnet grape tomatoes halved 4 Tbs “Maggi” gravy powder ½ cup Tomato juice ¾ cup water ½ Tbs Capsicum powder(I make myself) Totally optional Directions1Mix the gravy powder with juice,minced garlic + water & capsicum powder(if using) 2Dice your ox heart into chunks(or get butcher to do it)~Place into a bag with a bit of cornflour & shake to coat meat 3In my Breville searing slow cooker I browned heart on low with onions(Totally optional but does enhance flavour) 4Now add the gravy mixture & fresh tomatoes & cook on low 4 hours adding thawed veggies after 3 hours 5If gravy needs thickening make up a paste mix of cornflour/water and add into mix stirring until thickened before serving Notes 1Serve with mashed pumpkin or potato or a mix of both 2Or simply with a garlic bread to mop up gravy Submitted by Alison Battistuzzi close full screen 00:00 0 Reviews Cancel reply Your comment/review...All fields are required to submit a review.Your name ...
