Equipment

Ingredients

  • 625 grams beef ravioli – I used the Latina Fresh variety
  • 500 gram bottle of pasta bake sauce I use this one
  • 410 gram can Campbell's Spaghetti Sauce "with beef" click here to see it
  • 29 gram sachet of instant cheese sauce – makes 250ml of cheese sauce
  • 1 cup grated cheese – I like a mozzarella, parmesan, & cheddar blend

Instructions

  • Pour pasta bake sauce into the slow cooker bowl and spread to even
  • Layer ravioli to keep it as flat as possible (see prep image above). I had two layers to use all the ravioli and that's ok to layer them directly on top of the previous layer.
  • Pour over the spaghetti meat sauce
  • Make up cheese sauce as per packet directions and pour it gently over the top of your lasagna
  • Cook on LOW with Tea Towel Trick in place for 2hrs.
  • Add cheese and cook for an additional 15mins to melt
  • We served ours with a mixed leaf, feta, beetroot and walnut salad

Fantasticly easy to make. I like to make double size. I did pour a tomato & ricotta pasta bake to start, then a packet of beef ravioli. Next layer was 1/2 of 1kg beef mince fried with a 280gm packet of baby spinach & a couple tablespoons of basil pesto & tin of tomato soup. then I put another packet of ravioli on with pumpkin & feta in them. the other half of the mince I made was then applied and topped off with a jar of cheese sauce bake I had in cupboard. Popped cheese on top later as per recipe. it was delicious!!!

  2. Lasagne is not something I make as I have always thought it too complicated .
The ideas from this recipe have meant a lasagne is so easy to make.

An ever so easy one pot wonder was full of deliciousness. Hubby said YUMMO giving it a 10/10 and asked for me to cook it again. I cooked it in my Westinghouse 6.5 L sc on low for 2 hours.
NOTE: I sprinkled Italian herbs & thyme over the pasta Then the cheese sauce. Next time I think I would do 2 packets cheese sauce as it was a bit dry.
    Thanks Jenny P

    1. I don’t feel the need to – it’s so yummy just as it is in this pic
However if you have a slow cooker that is oven proof (only a few are so check first!) then you could brown it that way or under grill etc for a few minutes
But if you are in doubut if you bowl can or not than don’t as it can crack if you are wrong.

Done the famous It Can’t Be That Easy Lasagna and it didn’t disappoint. Very very yummy and has been requested again by the hubby and kids.

I will be doubling the sauce & cheese sauce to give extra sauce as I absolutely love extra sauce

  5. I made this 2 weeks ago, it was beautiful, I will be definitely making it again, so easy to make, hubby loved it, so did my elderly neighbour

Added an extra bottle of the pasta bake sauce between layers as we used a extra packet of Pasta. Also used a bottle of Bechemel sauce instead of making up the cheese sauce. Everyone enjoyed it.

I was worried we wouldn’t like this but I was so wrong. I made my white sauce instead of the packet, but left the rest the same. Everyone enjoyed it and we will be having it again.

Can’t believe lasagne was made and complete in just over 2 hours!!
Easy, easy and doable for mid week.
Absolutely delicious and super cheesy with mix of mozzarella and tasty cheese.

Wow sooo easy and soooo delicious. I did tweak it a lot. But basically used the same idea. I had a tin of cherry tomatoes. Mixed in some herbs and spices and a little of tinned chicken soup. Also a thick layer of mushrooms under the pasta – which was the Leggos ricotta and spinach Agnolotti.
Thank you Paulene, your a genius👏🏼👏🏼

This recipe is really great and so easy to prepare. Tastes absolutely delicious and would definitely recommend. Thanks Paulene 🤩

  12. This was soooo good. Doubled the sauce ingredients to make it super saucy. Used jars of bechamel instead of the powder packets purely for convenience. Would next time put sauce and bechamel between the layers of ravioli as they stuck together a bit but it all worked together really well and was delicious! Will definitely do again.
