Thai Beef cheeks

2 beef cheeks cut into strips,

1/2 red and green capsicum sliced,

4 cm bit of ginger cut into match sticks,

4 cloves garlic

3 teaspoons of tamarind past,

3 squares of palm sugar ( you can use brown sugar about 3 tablespoons

1/2 big red chilli cut thinly

1 teaspoon Vietnamese mint

4 Kaffir Lime leaves

2 onions cut into thin wedges

1/2 cup fish sauce

1/2 cup white wine

2 tablespoons cornflour mixed into a thin past


1Place all ingredients into the slow cooker except the corn flour.

2Cook for 8hrs on low

3Half an hour before finished pour the corn flour mixture into the slow cooker.

4Serve with rice
