Thai Beef cheeks
Serving: 4
Ingredients
- 2 beef cheeks cut into strips,
- 1/2 red and green capsicum sliced,
- 4 cm bit of ginger cut into match sticks,
- 4 cloves garlic
- 3 teaspoons of tamarind past,
- 3 squares of palm sugar ( you can use brown sugar about 3 tablespoons
- 1/2 big red chilli cut thinly
- 1 teaspoon Vietnamese mint
- 4 Kaffir Lime leaves
- 2 onions cut into thin wedges
- 1/2 cup fish sauce
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 2 tablespoons cornflour mixed into a thin past
Instructions
- Place all ingredients into the slow cooker except the corn flour.
- Cook for 8hrs on low
- Half an hour before finished pour the corn flour mixture into the slow cooker.
- Serve with rice
