  • 500g mince (or how ever many pies you want to make!)
  • 1 onion
  • 1 pkt of taco seasoning
  • 1 jar of salsa or tinned diced tomatos
  • Puff pastry
  • Diced tomato
  • Cheese
  • Kidney beans
  • Avocado
  • Sour cream


  • Brown mince, onion, and taco seasoning with 1/4 cup of water.
  • Place into the slow cooker and add salsa or diced tomatoes, cook on high for 2-4 hrs until a gravy consistency forms with mince
  • Using puff pastry line a pie tray or pie maker and fill with mince mixture
  • On the top of the pie place desired toppings such as; kidney beans, cheese, diced tomato, and avocado
  • Place the top on the pie and cook until pastry is crispy golden brown
  • Serve with sour cream
