Slow cooked Osso Bucco

  • Prep: 10 mins
  • Cook: 6 hrs
  • Yields: 5


6 beef osso bucco

2 tins garlic basil flavoured crushed tomatoes

1 sachet dry French onion soup mix

1 large red onion sliced

Extra minced garlic if desired


1Place osso bucco in slow cooker

2Top with dry French onion soup mix

3add sliced red onion over top

4pour tins of crushed tomatoes to cover

5cook for 5/6hrs on low depending on slow cooker

6serve with mash potatoes and vege

So this is meant to take 10 hours to prepare? Do you have to do something special with the meat first?
