Approx 600g pork belly, cut into 4-6 pieces
Approx 1kg lean pork ie shoulder, diced
2 cloves garlic, crushed (optional)
4-6 apples, chopped
2 large red onions, sliced
salt and pepper to season
100mls apple cider vinegar
500mls apple cider
Variation
500mls apple juice in place of apple cider
1Layer onions in bottom of bowl, diced pork, then pork belly.
2Season with salt, pepper and garlic.
3Place the apples on top and around pork.
4Pour the cider vinegar and the apple cider over.
5Cook 6-7hrs on low or 4.5-5.5 hrs on high
Notes
1Works great as a pulled pork using a whole piece of pork, just add a couple of tblspns of Cornflour.
