Absolutely beautiful way to slow cook a whole roast chicken and the gravy is truly Ahh-mazing!! Will be using this recipe regularly after the entire family gave this roast a 10 out of 10. I used two small (1.5kg) chickens and had leftovers for everyones lunches the following day. Thanks for the recipe Simon, we love it 🙂

I had a tomato and onion that needed using so I did a quick search of the website and found this Not Roast Chicken (+ Ahh-mazing Gravy).
I made a slight change to the gravy, 30mins before serving I transferred the chicken to a warm (about 100°c) oven after removing the onion and tomato from the chicken.
Then I broke the onion and tomato up in the juices that were in the slow cooker bowl, whisked in 1/4 cup of lactose free cream combined with 2 tblspns of cornflour.
I switched the sc to high for 30mins with the lid slightly ajar.
Tasted as ahh-mazing as it sounds and so quick and easy, thanks Simon 💜
