3 large ripe bananas

3 cup traditional rolled oats

1/4 cup finely chopped dried dates

1/4 cup finely chopped dried apricot

1/4 cup slivered almonds

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract


1Mash banana until smooth, add all other ingredients, mix well, spoon into lined baking tray,

2or slow cooker, use back if spoon, press evenly.

3tea towel under lid, cook on high for 1 1/2 - 2 hours.

4Let cool before cutting.

Love it! Not a fan of bananas so used apricots dates sultanas, cranberries and a little honey. Really pleased to find a healthy easy slice to make.

I make this every week!! This week it’s Apricots, sultanas, Cranberries and walnuts! I skip the vanilla extract but it always tastes amazing and super healthy for breakfast on my train journeys. ❤
