Beef Chow Mein
Serving: 4
Ingredients
- 500gm Beef Mince
- 1 Carrot Grated
- 1 Brown onion chopped
- 1 Bunch Bok Choy
- 150gm Bean Shoots
- 1 Cup of Green Beans
- 1 Tablespoon of Curry Powder
- 3 Tablespoons of Soy Sauce
- 1 Pkt Chicken Noodle Soup
- 2 Tablespoons Sugar
- 1/2 Cup White Rice
- 1/2 Chinese Cabbage
- 1-2 Litres Beef Stock
Instructions
- Brown Mince in frypan with a little vegetable oil
- Add Curry Powder and Onion
- Place all in Slow Cooker
- Add 1 litre beef stock
- Add grated carrot, rice, chicken noodle soup
- And sugar
- Turn cooker to high and cook for 1.5 - 2 hours
- Once rice is cooked add shredded Cabbage, beans and Bok Choy sliced.
- Cook on high for another 30 minutes until cabbage and Bok Choy have softened.
- Add Bean Shoots and mix.
- Cook a further 10 minutes and serve
- serves 4 adults.
- Note: add more stock if and when needed
