Perfect thickness and delicious. The whole family will like :)
8 hrs 10 mins
1 pack green split peas
1 bacon hock
3 carrots diced
2 potatoes diced
1 onion diced
7 cups water
Salt and pepper to taste
1Place bacon hock in slow cooker
2Dice up all vegetables and add to slpw cooker
3Add packet of green spilt peas, water and salt and pepper.
4Cook on high for 6-8 hours. When bacon is cooked take out and cut up.
5Blitz it into the soup and serve with a crusty roll.
6My bacon hock was just over 1kg

Great recipe to use, swapped for yellow split peas, but so easy and tastes amazing

So goood. I added celery to mine as I had it in the fridge. Made heaps and so easy to make especially with a toddler running around. Will def make it again..

OMG FIRST ATTEMPT AT MAKING THIS, AMAZING FLAVOUR AND SO EASY TO DO. WILL DEFINITELY BE HAVING THIS AGAIN. WE GOT ABOUT 7-8 GOOD SIZED BOWLS OUT OF THIS RECIPE.
