Chicken Chasseur

1kg Chicken (I used breast)

3 rashers bacon diced

250g Mushrooms sliced

1 onion diced

1 clove garlic crushed

2 carrots diced

2 sticks celery diced

3/4 cup chicken stock

3/4 cup white wine

1/4 cup plain flour

30g butter

1 tbsp olive oil

1/3 cup tomato paste


1Melt butter and olive oil and brown chicken then remove from pan

2Saute onion, garlic and mushrooms for 2 minutes

3Add rest of the vegetables and cook for 3 minutes

4Add flour and stir in

5Add liquids and tomato paste and place everything in slow cooker

6Cook on low for 5 hours

7I used a multi cooker for this which made browning easier. Enjoy
