  • 1kg Chicken (I used breast)
  • 3 rashers bacon diced
  • 250g Mushrooms, sliced

  • 2 Carrots diced

  • 3/4 cup chicken stock
  • 3/4 cup white wine
  • 1/4 cup plain flour
  • 30g butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/3 cup tomato paste

Instructions

  • Melt butter and olive oil and brown chicken then remove from pan
  • Saute bacon, onion, garlic and mushrooms for 2 minutes
  • Add rest of the vegetables and cook for 3 minutes
  • Add flour and stir in
  • Add liquids and tomato paste and place everything in slow cooker
  • Cook on low for 5 hours
  • I used a multi cooker for this which made browning easier. Enjoy

Wow. This was one of the most delicious meals that we have EVER eaten. I am just about to make a Double batch and freeze half. And so so easy to make. 10/10

If you mean new potatoes, like small baby potatoes, yes I believe this would be enough time for those small ones, or if worried cut them in half first

It would of course change the flavour Val but you could – let us know what you think of it 🙂
