Chicken, Gluten Free

1/4 cup gluten free soy sauce,
1/4 cup rice vinegar,
1/4 cup sugar,
1 tablespoon sesame oil,
1 1/2 tablespoons shaoxing wine or dry sherry,
6 cloves garlic, smashed,
8 1/4 inch ginger, peeled sliced,
6 scallions or spring onions,
1 diced red chilli,
2 star anise, ,
1 kg chicken, I used drumsticks,
I also put in a couple of tablespoons cornflour.
1I put everything into the slow cooker for 6 hours on low.
2I removed the chicken bones before serving.
3If a little thin added a little more cornflour.
4I served with Fried Rice. Enjoy.
