3 Teacup Chicken
Serving: 4
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup gluten free soy sauce,
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar,
- 1/4 cup sugar,
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil,
- 1 1/2 tablespoons shaoxing wine or dry sherry,
- 6 cloves garlic, smashed,
- 8 1/4 inch ginger, peeled sliced,
- 6 scallions or spring onions,
- 1 diced red chilli,
- 2 star anise, ,
- 1 kg chicken, I used drumsticks,
- I also put in a couple of tablespoons cornflour.
Instructions
- I put everything into the slow cooker for 6 hours on low.
- I removed the chicken bones before serving.
- If a little thin added a little more cornflour.
- I served with Fried Rice. Enjoy.
