Käposzta hungarian cabbage rolls
Serving: 4
Ingredients
- 1/2 Kg beef mince
- 1/2Kg pork mince
- 1 onion grated
- 1/2 tsp pepper black or white
- 4Cloves garlic or 2tsp minced jar
- 1Tsp paprika
- 1Egg
- 1Whole cabbage or 1/2
- 2 tins of sauerkraut
- 2hand full of rice
- 1Tsp salt
- 2Tablespoons tomato paste
- 4Cups water
Instructions
- Put a pot of salted water on to boil
- To make the meat mix add beef and pork in bowl, add onion, pepper, salt, garlic, paprika, and egg mix thoroughly With your cabbage leaves, add couple at a time to your boiling hot water
- Take out and add a spoon full of meat mix in leaf and roll
- Keep doing that until all the meat mix is used.
- Every layer add a layer of sauerkraut till u reach to top
- Add finallayer ofsauerkraut on top,
- Mix tomato paste and water in ajug, add to cabbage rolls andcook till done - 6-7 hrs low
