Garlic Butter Mushrooms
Ingredients
- 6 mushrooms
- 1 tsp butter
- 1-2 cloves of garlic to taste
- Recipe easily doubled etc or increased to how ever many mushrooms you wish
Instructions
- Brush or rinse mushrooms if you wish - I like to leave skin on mushrooms so I don't peal them before cooking
- Place mushrooms top side down in slow cooker (so stalks are sticking up and the main mushroom surface area is on cooker)
- Add butter and garlic
- Cook on HIGH for 1hr in 1.5L slow cooker. I stirred them around once during cooking because I was nearby but it won't matter if you don't.
- Time may vary between slow cooker models
- Serve on plate and drizzle with garlic butter if desired

Made these for the first time tonight. Daughter liked them very much. Thank you for this recipe!
So pleased you loved them 🙂
Had these mushrooms tonight in my 1.5 ltr SC.
Tripled the recipe because we love mushrooms and we love garlic ?
Will definitely be having them again. Thankyou for the recipe
Delicious! Used 500 grams cup mushrooms with extra roasted garlic, 1.5 teaspoons of butter, sprinkle of dried thyme in a 5 litre – generated an adequate amount of tasty garlic sauce – served with fried tomato & asparagus for a quick light brunch .
These sound AMAZING just wondering if you’ve only got larger slow cooker (5 or 6 Lt) what time and low or high please and thank you
Still do it on low Zoey but it will cook faster as the cooker that is emptier will cook hotter so just keep an eye on it for when they are done 🙂
Easy side dish. I used 1tsp crushed garlic and 1tsp butter cooked for 1hr as per recipe in my baby SC ?
My tiny Monier cp only has a low setting, how long do you think it would take to cook these, double time ? I love mushrooms, but no one else does in my family, this way I can enjoy without last minute rush. thanks in advance.
I’m not familiar with how fast or slow the Moniers cook myself but I’d say that’s a good suggestion Loraine 🙂
