Caramel Popcorn Bombs

These are old school Lolly Gobble Bliss Bombs!

- Yields: 8 cups
Directions
1I used a 7 litre slow cooker. Allow additional time for cookers with less surface area.
2Put popped corn into container and set aside.
3Turn cooker on HIGH
4Put butter, sugar and honey into slow cooker.
5Melt and combine until sugar is dissolved. (approx. 5-10 min)
6Place lid on with TEA TOWEL in place.
7Cook on HIGH for a further 30 minutes depending on cooker.
8Caramel is ready when a light golden brown.
9Turn off slow cooker.
10Add crushed pecans and stir through.
11Pour pecan caramel over popcorn and mix through till evenly coated.
12Place onto baking paper lined tray and spread out.
13Allow to cool fully.
14Break apart and store in an airtight container.

Imade this sat night but changes crushed pecans for peanuts,,and used my orange blossom riverland honey BLOOD YUMMMMMMMMMM,, will be doing this one a agine

Made this recipe this afternoon with my granddaughter Lily. So easy to do & tastes delicious š. Made lots & lots, would be a great treat for movie night. Thank you Simon.

I have found in an airtight container can stay fresh for 2 weeks

We ate all ours within a day or so to be honest lol
Not certain how long it would stay good so perhaps do a test run first?

Pro tip, make a double batch so there’s actually some left over for lunch boxes after you’ve finished ‘testing’ it
I didn’t use any nuts as I didn’t have any on hand. Also the caramel took a little longer for me but it turned out so yum
