Baby’s Tuna Risotto
Serving: 10
Ingredients
- 1/2 large Tin of Tuna in springwater
- 1/2 cup Jasmine Rice
- 1/4onion chopped finely
- 1 clove garlic chopped finely
- 1/2 cup frozen peas
- 1/2 cup frozen spinach
- Juice of 1/4 lemon
- 1 cups water
Instructions
- Cook on high for1.5 - 2 hours this will depend on size of sc. I did this in my 1.5 litre and it tends to cook a lot faster. Add handful of cheese at the end and stir through. This is quite thick when pureed so more liquid (yoghurt, formula, milk) might need to be added depending on bubs age.
- I doubled this, took half out, pureed and froze in portions for bub and stirred through cream and black pepper in the other half for my teenagers.

do you cook the rice before putting it in the slow cooker?
Looking at the consistency I believe this would be added raw
This turned out really well! Really yummy too. I added a splash or two of salt reduced chicken stock right at the end just to stir through and moisten a bit more. Have also frozen!
