Slow Cooker Macaroni and Cheese

  • 2 bags elbow macaroni (500g bags)
  • 100g butter melted
  • 600g grated cheese
  • 6 tbspns of flour
  • 2 tbsp of crushed garlic
  • 2 1/2 tbspns whole grain mustard
  • 9 cups of boiled water
  • Chopped bacon
  • Chopped tomato to garnish


  • Turn slow cooker on and set to high.
  • Grease cooker add uncooked pasta.
  • Add melted butter and mix thoroughly.
  • Add the other ingredients and stir. Cover.
  • Cook for 2 hours mixing every 30 mins

  1. This is the only way I’ll eat Mac n Cheese … from scratch. None of that nasty boxed stuff from the supermarket ! The children, big and small, love it when I make it. So easy and tasty.
