Chicken & corn soup

  • 4 cups of chicken stock
  • 2 cups water
  • I onion grated
  • 2 large chicken breasts
  • 400 grams bacon chopped
  • 5 potato chopped small
  • 2 tins creamed corn
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  • Add all ingredients to slow cooker except creamed corn, I cook for a couple of hours (2-3) on high then take out chicken breast and shred with 2 forks... Add chicken back and cream corn, cook for another 2-3 hrs
  • I mash the potato up in the last hr with a potato masher as best I can but you can leave as is I just prefer a less chunky soup 🙂
