Bread & Jam Pudding
Serving: 5
Ingredients
- 8 slices white bread
- Strawberry Jam, or whatever jam flavour u prefer. (Alternatively just butter instead)
- 3 eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla essence
- 1/2 tsp mixed spice
- Handful of sultanas (optional)
- Spray oil for slow cooker
Instructions
- Spread the bread with jam, cut in triangle halves. Spray slow cooker with oil & place bread in. Mix remaining ingredients together & pour over bread. Use tea towel under the lid & cook for 1 hr on low, then 1 hr on high. Serve with cream or ice cream.

sorry, but this was terrible. I followed the recipe exactly, but it was a sodgy mess of bread. I cooked it in my 5 litre, so maybe the cooker was too big?
