Total Time 6 hours 10 minutes

  • 500g of mince
  • 1 finally diced onion
  • 1 pkt French onion soup mix
  • 1 tsp vegeta stock powder ( blue container )
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tins tomato soup
  • 1 tin of water
  • 1/4 cup risoni ( roughly )
  • 1-2 tsp garlic salt

  • Place tomato soup, water, risoni and garlic salt into your slow cooker and turn on high.
  • Put all other ingredients into a bowl and mix well.
  • Roll into little balls and semi brown in the oven or in a pan ( I browned them this time but have also put in slow cooker raw )
  • Then place them into you soup mixture and cook on low roughly 3-4 hours.

  • Have also used 1 can of milk instead of the water and garlic salt is to your tasting could use either less or more
  • Risoni is to thicken the sauce could you more or less depending on your taste
  • If putting them in raw I would cook for 6 hours on low.

  1. Hubby and kids loved it, have it with cooked pasta with a dash of butter mixed through the pasta and sprinkling of dried Nadi and grated cheese, followed by grated cheese on top of your meatballs ?
