Big Mac chicken

Chicken dish inspired by the flavours of the all mighty big mac!

  • 500g chicken breast diced
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 large onion sliced
  • 1 cup mayo
  • 2tbs french dressing
  • 1tbs thousand island
  • 2 tsp vinegar
  • 2tbs sweet mustard pickles
  • Pinch salt
  • 1tsp sugar
  • Squirt tomato sauce
  • Sliced dill pickle


  • Brown chicken.
  • Combine all ingredients except dill pickle.
  • Cook low for 3 hrs.
  • Stir through sliced pickle before serving
  • Served with pasta, but would be great with lettuce for burgers or wraps or with rice too!

  1. I made it and it was crap ,watery and awful,my daughter made it ,it was divine ,i just couldnt get mine right,v expensive to make and a waste of my time wen it was yuk

  3. The Big Mac chicken was the first thing I’ve cooked out of the slow cooker central for kids cook book. Made this for dinner tonight and my 3 year old who never eats anything I cook for her Inhailed it even had seconds!!!
    Definitely will be making this again

  4. My one year old son that eats anything seemed to like it and I didn’t mind it. My hubby and three year old on the hand hated it. ?

  5. Made this for the first time and made a double batch. Had chicken thighs (didn’t brown but cooked for longer) I found it to need thickening or use the tea towel trick. Had one night with mash and veg then second night with chips. Reheated well. Will be making again.

  6. This was amazing another favourite. I will be making this again and again. everyone loved it. I doubled the recipe and followed it exactly and it was perfect the meat amazing browned and the sauce is just perfect. Yummy.

  7. so how much pasta and cheese ?? i realize this is just for the chicken part but why wouldnt you add the whole recipe ??

  8. This is a regular in my house everyone loves it, it’s so so good. I have even doubled the recipe so there is left over to put in the freezer. It freezes great
