Bacon and Corn Chowder
Serving: 6
Ingredients
- 3 c corn kernels
- 4 small potatoes, quartered
- 8 slices cooked bacon
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 tsp minced garlic or 2 cloves
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 3 c chicken stock
- 3 c milk
- 1/4 c butter
Instructions
- Combine first 8 ingredients in slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on high for 4 hours or low for 8 hours.
- Stir in milk and butter, cover and cook for an additional hour.

Cooking time on post should be amended to 5 hours. This is our go to recipe for chowder, we just add in a handful of cheese as well though.
