Mars bar mousse

  • 4 normal size Mars bars
  • 50 ml of milk
  • 4 Tb cocoa powder
  • 3 large egg whites.


  • Add chopped up Mars bars to Sc with milk and cocoa powder, stir frequently until all smooth and melted.
  • Approx 1/2 hr to 1 hr high, depending on heat of Sc
  • Transfer to a clean bowl once all melted and let cool for about 15 mins
  • In a separate bowl whisk egg whites to a soft peak, then slowly and gradually add with a metal spoon add to chocolate mixture. Add to your choice of glass ware and put in fridge for 2 hrs to set, top with cream. Enjoy

  1. Oh sooooo chocolatey ?? Wonderful dessert recipe, thanks for sharing it Sherrie Sutcliffe ? We served our mousse topped with sweetened whipped cream and Cadbury hazelnut chocolate shavings ? Would also be awesome served with ice cream too ?
