Ingredients

6 pears (peeled., cored and halved)

1 and 1/2 cups dark brown sugar

1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger

2 tablespoons butter

Directions

1Combine sugar, butter and ginger into slow cooker pot.

2Add pears and gently toss to coat.

3Lay pears cut side down.

4Cook on high for 1.5 - 2 hours or until pears are tender.

5Once pears are cooked, serve with syrup poured over the top with cream or ice-cream

Made this in a 1.5lt slowcooker & tasted AMAZING!!! I added less pears as mine were large but i think next time ill had them all!!! Lol i was going to have with ice cream but saw some left over creamed rice so had that instead & it was just YUM!!! 😍😉
