Honey Mustard Chicken
Sweet, Creamy and Tangy this dish will be sure to hit the spot !
Serving: 4
Ingredients
- 1kg chicken thigh (leave whole)
- 3x carrots peeled and chopped
- 1x broccoli cut into florets (see notes)
- 1/2 cup sliced spring onion (cold use any type of onion)
- 1x cup chicken stock
Honey Mustard sauce
- 3-4 tbs of honey
- 3tsp garlic
- 8tsp of Dijon mustard
- 2tbs lemon juice (could use apple cider vinegar)
- 1tsp parsley
- Salt and pepper
To thicken
- 1-2tbs of cornflower added to 1-2tbs of water
Instructions
- Place all the ingredients into your cooker and cook on low for 4 hours or until vegetables are tender.
- Add the cornflour and water mixture to the slow cooker about 20 mins before serving to thicken the sauce.
- **Optional add 1/4 cup of cream to make it extra creamy***
