Easy Sausage Pie
Serving: 6
Ingredients
- 6 Sausages (chopped)
- 4 eggs
- 1 & 1/2 Cups Milk
- 3 Slices Bacon (Diced)
- 1/4 Chorizo (Diced)
- 2 Zucchini (Grated, Strained)
- - 1 carrot grated
- 1 onion, grated
- 1 Cup Cheese (Grated)
- 1/2 cup plain flour
- Salt, pepper
Instructions
- Chop or squeeze small bite sized chunks of raw sausage.
- Line slow cooker with baking paper (optional) and layer with sausages, onion, chorizo, zucchini, carrot, bacon and cheese.
- In a mixing bowl combine eggs, milk, salt, pepper and flour.
- Pour over sausages.
- Cook on low for 4 hrs (with tea towel under the lid).
- Serve with your favourite sides.

GOING TO TRY THIS … BUT INSTEAD OF SAUSAGE AS BASE WILL LINE BOTTOM WITH GARLIC BREAD THEN COVER WITH INGREDIENTS HOPE IT TURNS OUT OK

This dish turned out delicious and was a hit with my hubby. Giving it 9/10 Note: I added 1 teaspoon dried thyme to the egg mixture. And left out the chorizo as I didn’t have any. Sc it in my Westinghouse 3.5L on low for 5 hours until cooked through.

Such an easy and delicious recipe, would be lovely served up with a salad.
Wow!!! What a delicious meal.
Absolutely loved it.
Next time I make it, I will par boil the sausages to remove some of the fat.
A side of salad, along with a side of vegetables….choice of potato bake, green beans and fetta, honey butter veggies.
