  • 500g sausages (thick or thin)
  • 1 large onion diced
  • 4 potatos, cubed

  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 tablespoon curry powder (or extra to taste)
  • 3 cups beef stock
  • 2 tablespoons cornflour

Instructions

  • Place sausages in slow cooker. I put mine in raw but for those who prefer you can pre boil them to remove skins.

  • Cook on low for 6-8hrs.
  • Prior to serving thicken with cornflour and a little water if required.
  • I like to slice my sausages up then return them to the pot for serving 🙂

  1. This is my go to recipe for curry. When I want to do a chicken curry for a change, I just change the stock to 2 cups of chicken and add 1 cup of cream in the last half hour

  2. Another delicious dish by Paulene.
I made it exactly to the recipe and it was lovely and thickened nicely at the end
I served it on a bed of rice, with homemade naan bread and a dollop of greek yoghurt.

  3. This was fabulous. It looks and is simple. But the flavours are just perfect and mouthwatering. I could not stop spooning up the sauce! Soooooo good!

  4. Loved this. I didn’t add the potato, but I did put in 1 cup of Risoni pasta in the last hour of cooking to help thicken (I did do the cornflour as well) and it worked well and was very delicious. I also did mine with Vindaloo curry powder, about 2.5-3 Tbsp, I like it hot and was a perfect bite! Thanks Paulene for this recipe, it’s a favourite for us!

  5. Fantastic recipe! It’s been a looong time since my toddler has gobbled a meal down! I used chipolatas as I had to use them up & served it up with rice. Definitely making it again in the future.

Absolutely Delish! I took the sausages out at the end and mixed gravy powder through the juices….. turned out a little salty but yummy none the less

  7. Easy and delicious. My 4th dish in the slow cooker (I’m hooked! Making something each day now).. My 2 year old says she likes it but not with too much sauce… but she does want some put aside for her another time, which is a huge win! .In general, I’m so amazed how soft the meat in each dish comes. Thanks for making this and other recipes readily available.

  8. YUM this was delicious. I used 1kg thick sausages I boiled and removed the skins as that’s my personal preference otherwise I did exactly what the recipe said. 1 tablespoon of curry powder was enough for my family as we like it mild but what a delicious meal it was made heaps. I’ll be having leftovers for breakfast haha

  9. I’ve already left a review before but I just tried this using chicken sausages and chicken stock instead YUM this is one of our repeat meals because it is a favourite of mine <3 So simple and sooooo tasty

I tried this recipe and followed it exactly and it turned out perfectly! My whole family (kids 2 &4, husband and myself) all loved it and hubby even went back for seconds! Thank you so much, I’ll be using this recipe regularly from now on.

  11. Very nice. I may have put a bit too much curry (I prob did a heaped tablespoon) so next time I’ll reduce that as was a tad strong. Fed the family for dinner and enough left over to freeze for another night. I felt like I’d like celery in it too but as I’m the only one that likes celery I’ll have to miss out.

Made this for dinner as hubby loves curry. It was a hit, everyone requested seconds
Served it on a bed of rice. Yummo
Will definitely be cooking this again

The included veggies and addition of risoni makes this a perfect one-pot meal on those busy days. Often appears on our menu at home.
