So I have been told – YES! MAKE THIS AGAIN!
Great taste, lots of veggies, so no guilt about the cheese and cream content (like there should be guilt anyways).
I confess I didn’t pre-fry the onion and mushrooms, and it still came out with an amazing flavour.
Will put it in the “regular” rotation 😉

Paulene, can I double this recipe to cater for 6 adults? Will I double all ingredients and extend cooking time? Any help appreciated. Thankyou

While this isn’t my own recipe to know for sure, if I doubled this I’d double everything but not the onion, bacon and mushrooms. I’d boost the bacon a bit maybe but 1kg of mushrooms would be a LOT and 2 whole onions would be too. Everything else I’d probably double though. As for time it wouldn’t need double – an extra 30-45mins should do it for this increased amount since it is on HIGH and would cook pretty efficiently in that time 🙂
