Did this again tonight .. washed potatoes (skin on), pumpkin, sweet potato & carrot
Swapped the French onion soup for Spring Vegetable soup sachet and it was soooo good!
I 3/4 filled a 3.5 L Slow Cooker, so I did it on high for two hours and on low for about four hours to make it cooks through to Lovely and tender 🙂
Thanks Di – we love this one ??

Made this last night, cooked 2 hours on high in my 3.5 and it could have been on longer as the potato wasn’t quite cooked through. I liked this and will definitely make again.

I tried this tonight. Very yummmm. I did double almost everything. I put it on for I think 4 hours, Started off on HIGH, then turned down to LOW after half an hour, then turned back to HIGH for last hour. Then when put cheese on I turned it down to LOW in last 10 Mins or so

Provided you use the correct cream, you can’t go wrong with this one ?

Delicious. I left out the cheese as cream and cheese is too much after having my gallbladder removed. I live alone so even licked my plate.

Cooking cream is a type of cream that resists splitting when heated 🙂 More info HERE
While this is Di’s recipe, not mine, I don’t see why you couldn’t change up the veg like that 🙂

Thank you for a very tasty vegetable recipe. Hubby and I both loved it. I added celery and parsnip and used Carnation lite cooking cream. Will definitely be making again.

Bit of a hit in our house.
    Terrific and super easy.
It’s very tasty on it’s own, but the left overs we use as a side dish with grilled chicken breast or penne pasta.
