Cooked this tonight with turkey wingets and it was delicious! All the meat fell off the bones and I just picked them out! Ate it with mash and veggies and the whole family loved it!!
This recipe but with these alterations >>
•••• I used 1 tin of soup not two
•••• 10 chicken drumsticks instead of 2 turkey legs
Amazing ?
Kids all rated it 10/10
??????????????
We loved the gravy!
Will definitely cook this again ? %
I made this tonight using 6 chicken drumsticks. I used only 1 can of soup. It cooked in about 3 hours and was glorious. Big hit in my household and will definitely do this again. Great dish with heaps of gravy (and I’m very find of gravy!!).
I did “Tasty Chicken Drumsticks” instead and they certainly were tasty <3 I used 2kg chicken drumsticks and followed Paulene’s tip and used 1 can of chicken soup with all remaining ingredients the same, cooked on LOW for 6 hours. They were melt in your mouth and the gravy was delicious, especially teamed with mash, beans, and a corn cob.
I made this for my girlfriend and mum and they loved it.
I am allergic to tomatoes/paste. Also mushrooms and any cooked fruits! Is there anything I can substitute it with?
Yum! I used chicken drumsticks and only 1 can of chicken soup and added extra garlic, cooked on LOW for 6 hours. Served with chips.
Yum…will definitely make this again. Made with chicken drumsticks (8) as there is only hubby and me. 2 each tonight then 2 each tomorrow night.
Served over a bed of mash. Add some frozen veggies to the slow cooker toward the end.
Can I do this with a whole turkey? I have.a 4 kilo to use
The flavours would work just as well with a whole turkey vs legs. The only thing to keep in mind is the full bird will likely release more liquids during cooking (and need longer cook time too of course)
This was yummy.
I used 1 can of chicken soup and a pkt beef stroganoff mix ( no French onion soup ) so also added 1 cup water.
Cooked on high for 6 hours, added light sour cream then reduced to low for about an hour.
This was absolutely amazing. So yummy. I used 5 chicken drumsticks & only one can of soup. Hubby said one of the best meals he hads had. Will definetily be on repeat.
I make this often.
It’s a great way to cook turkey drumsticks so tender and delicious.
My take on this recipe.
Only used 3/4 can soup, used chicken sausages squished out of casing to make meatballs, added broccoli, carrot, spinach and sriracha for some heat, also about 1/2 to 1 cup of water.
All I can say is yummmm.
Slight variation, used Beef & Pork meatballs used only 1 tin Cream of Mushroom soup with all other ingredients…..YUM!!
Made with chicken drumsticks and 1 can of soup. Delicious! Thank you, Tenille!
Tried the Tasty Turkey Drumsticks recipe but changed it for diced chicken and it is absolutely delicious.
Hubby has requested it again
I used skinless chicken thighs (over a kilo) only one can of chicken soup, cooked for 4 and half hours on low , thickened the gravy with a 2 tbsp cornflour and water. The gravy is divine a must try for all the chicken lovers out there.
Love this recipe, so easy and really yummy.
Used drumsticks instead of turkey, will have to try it out with turkey legs.
Thanks so much for leaving your feedback Eve 🙂

Is the chicken soup in this recipe condensed?
Yes I use the Campbell’s brand one 🙂
I cooked this recipe using 7 chicken drumsticks, only used 1 can of soup and added a chicken stock cube as I didn’t have chicken stock power. I did add about 1/2 cup of water to thin the sauce down a bit, next time I will use a bigger slow cooker as the drumsticks were very crowded. We loved the taste, now on the “favourites” list.
Thanks so much for taking the time to leave your great feedback Jackie 🙂
do you add the water and milk to the cream of chicken condensed soup as per the can instructions?
No water at all Gill 🙂 When we use these soups in slow cooking it’s never with any water added to it 🙂
made this tonight as the recipe with chicken drumsticks only one can of soup. I added carrots and Brussels sprouts it was just so dam tasty.
That’s so great to hear! Thanks Kath 🙂
