  1. Delicious…family cleaned their plate. thanks for sharing your recipe, will be a regular on our menu

  2. Sounds delicious – could you make your own meatballs and put them in raw (not frozen)? I wonder if they would just fall apart if they weren’t browned first?

Absolutely brilliant. I made two lots of nibble sized sweet chilli meatballs. I was trying out easy finger food recipes for a future wedding and they were gone almost before I walked back to the kitchen. A big hit and very easy to make and they freeze very well. Will definitely be making again.

Absolutely brilliant. I made two lots of nibble sized sweet chilli meatballs. I did make my own plain mince meatballs with just a bit of garlic, salt and pepper as I was trying out easy finger food recipes for a future wedding and they were gone almost before I walked back to the kitchen. A big hit and very easy to make and they freeze very well. Will definitely be making again.

    Saucy, sweet n sour deliciousness!
Used fresh mince, making 12 balls which held together perfectly.
This made a generous amount of sauce, with cornflour thickened at the end.
I served with rice and broccoli on the side.
Next time I might try with pork mince for more authentic Asian flavour.

Wow this is an awesome sweet and sour, absolutely amazing and so easy to make , I used pork and beef meatballs and tossed in cornflour before adding to slow cooker, I mixed other ingredients in slow cooker first before adding the meatballs except I didn’t use capsicum as not every one in the family likes it . Will certainly be making this again, enjoyed by the whole family.

    Dinner was ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
    Will definitely do it again

I doubled the sweet & sour for 30 meatballs
Added 1T cornflour at the start
Swapped fresh capsicum for canned (2 cans) as no fresh available at shops today 🫑

Served with cheese & chive potato mash

Tried this recipe as it looked so yummy. The family including Grandkids loved it. My son took some home with him. I put the meatballs in first then poured the sauce over the top. I did not stir it all and it worked out great !!!

Made this today 4 1/2 hours on low with pork and veal meatballs( Woolies) plus carrots and onion. Rest was per recipe. Was absolutely scrumptious and two more meals in freezer as well. Definitely a keeper!

Made this yesterday really enjoyed it. Had 3 leftovers in the freezer as only 2 of us. I thickened it with a handful of rolled oats about 1/2 hour before it was finished.
