Polynesiian pork rashers

Ingredients
 

  • 1 kilo of pork rashers
  • 1 clove of garlic diced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 can of pineapple pieces and the juice
  • 3/4 cup tomato sauce
  • 3tbsps brown sugar
  • 3 tbsps hosin sauce
  • 1 tsp ginger

Instructions
 

  • Place pork rashers and onion in slow cooker. Combine everything else together well. Pour over chops and onion.
  • Cook on low for 6 hours.
  • Leave lid off in the last half a hour so the sauce thickens up

    A beautiful dish similar in flavour to sweet and sour. I thickened it with a cornflour slurry at the end as prefer a thicker sauce. Is enough for several more meals and will freeze what’s left. Will definitely make this again. Thank you for such a yummy dish.
