I halved the ingredients and used the Heinz medium spiced mixed beans. Added tomato paste. Only needed 4 hrs on low. We had it lunch time in soft Tortilla pockets. (With the salad, cheese & sour cream) Was easy and tasty. Grandchild had seconds.
