Korean Beef Tacos

Ingredients
 

  • 2 Lb Whole Beef (907g I just used a Kg) Pork or chicken can also be used
  • 5 cloves crushed garlic
  • ¼ onion diced
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • ¼ Cup soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp rice wine vinegar (white wine vinegar will work too)
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • ¼ inch fresh ginger root peeled and grated
  • Jalapeno diced (optional)
  • 8 flour tortillas
  • Salad made of lettuce and carrot but you can put any salad you want

Instructions
 

  • Put meat in slow cooker.
  • Mix garlic, onion, brown sugar, soy sauce, vinegar, sesame oil, ginger and jalapeno if youre adding them.
  • Tip over meat and cook on low for 8 hours.
  • Remove meat and shred or cut then add back to sauce.
  • Serve on a tortilla with salad.

  1. I’ve been wanting to try this recipe for awhile now, I’m glad I did. So tasty and so easy to prepare. I used beef strips and cooked for 4 1/2 hours. Served on wraps with salad. Delish ??

    Thanks Karen. Another one to add to the easy list

    Swapped coconut aminos for the soy sauce and omitted the ginger and sesame oil as we had none
