Honey Garlic & Mustard Seed Roast Lamb

Ingredients
 

  • Leg of Lamb
  • Honey
  • 2-3 Garlic Cloves
  • Whole Grain Mustard Seeds
  • Water

Instructions
 

  • Stuff lamb with garlic cloves sliced
  • Add enough water to fill the base of the slow cooker, make a small ball of al-foil and place the roast on top.
  • On the top of the roast smear with honey coating the whole top.
  • Repeat with whole grain mustard seed on top of the honey.
  • Cook on low for minimum 5 hours.
  • Remove the al-foil and cook in juices for three hours.
  • Remove from juices and serve with gravy made from the juices

    Um, so, is that five hours in the foil followed by three hours without foil, for a total of eight hours? Or is it five in total with two in the foil and three out of it?

      I can see how that’s confusing :/
      However as Natasha has specified a total cooking time of 5hrs I’m thinking she means 2 then 3hrs?

      You don’t wrap in foil. This recipe creator just has the roast elevated from the bottom on foil. You can skip the foil all together if you prefer
