  1. Just cooked and eating it now and so yummy…I replaced the tomato soup with vegetable soup..I put the snags in whole and at 4 hour marked took them out, cut them up and put them back…They were cooked so put them back in again till I got my plate ready…Don’t know why it says 6 to 8 hours…

Will definitely cook this again and add more vegetables and probably a bit more water.

Can I use normal tomato soup or replace it with mushroom(condensed) Also use leek instead of onion

You could use tin tomatoes instead of soup I’d imagine but it just would lack the creaminess of a soup. You may like to stir through some cooking cream towards the end to keep this if you like?

My partner and 5 year old love this! After the first meal it became my partner’s favourite meal ?? I followed the recipe but you could really add anything else to it

THIS! This is the tastiest and easiest recipe and the whole family love it. Yes I brown the sausages first but that’s just personal preference. Oooh and I add more sausages to make the stew last longer too 😉
