Dutch Cabbage

Ingredients
 

  • 1 kilo Beef Mince
  • Half a cabbage
  • 1 tablespoon garlic
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 large onion
  • 2 tablespoons of curry powder
  • 2 Beef stock cubes

Instructions
 

  • Fry off the cabbage in some butter first, then put mince, cabbage and all condiments in the slow cooker and cook on high for 3 hours.
  • Serve with spiral pasta

    Mmmmm so good. I halved the beef & cabbage but kept the other amounts the same. Nothing needed to add, but I had some carrots & mushrooms, so I did put them in. My SC cooks high so I put it on low for 5 hrs.
    During the last 10mins I added a hand full of pearl couscous.
    Delicious & Sooo easy.

    Would it make a difference if I didn’t fry off the cabbage first and add some water Tia it looks so yummy

      I don’t see why you couldn’t fry off the cabbage first is you prefer 🙂 Why the water though?

      No it doesn’t 🙂 The mince releases it’s own liquids plenty
