Cheesy Omelette Boat

Ingredients
 

  • Per Serving
  • 1 Taco Boat
  • 2 eggs
  • cubed ham
  • diced tomato
  • mushrooms
  • cut spring onions
  • Grated cheese
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • In each boat add the ham, tomato, mushrooms and onion.
  • Beat the 2 eggs and add to the ingredients
  • Top with cheese
  • Line the slow cooker with baking paper and place the boats into it.
  • Cover with a tea towel and turn it on.
  • Cook on 1 1/4 hours on high
  • A few minutes before finished top with another layer of cheese.
  • Remove, let stand for a few minutes and serve.

    Simple, easy and tasty !! Just the way I like it !!
    Served for dinner with hot chips, salad and garlic bread.
    Turned a few eggs into a filling meal.

    Wow Wayne these are amazing!! I seasoned with salt and pepper before cooking and were blown away with the result ? worked wonderfully, just popped in the oven for 10mins to crisp before serving ? brilliant boat ? recipe we will make again and again ?

  4. Oh Yumm!! These taste fantastic. Great for breakfast, lunch or tea. I sandwiched the soft taco shells into my 5.5L slow cooker & think that’s why it took mine 2hr15min cook time on high. We ended up eating them the next day. I added pepper before adding in the egg. I didn’t do the extra cheese on top, my own personal preference.
