What a great idea, will definitely try this soon ?
Simple LLLOOVVEE this recipe. So quick and easy to make for a quick Sunday nights dinner.
YUMMO
So simple as easy!! Had with a few slices of buttered bread to wipe up the sauce.
Note: My kids don’t like baked beans so I swap them for tinned spaghetti.
I made this tonight in my 1.5L baby slow cooker, we don’t like Frankfurters so I used pork sausages & removed the skins, I sautéed them in chili olive oil & cooked to the recipe! I served it with a sunny side egg & crusty tiger rolls. Everything just fit & they turned out scrumptious & Im not overly a fan of baked beans!
Thank you, I’ll be making this again ?
Oh my goodness I had forgotten how good this is. We were feeling slack. I knew I had cheerios in the freezer so in it all went. I had about 20 cheerios, 1pkt Don’s real diced bacon, some frozen diced onion, 1 x tin tomatoes, 1 x tin diced capsicums, 3 x tins baked beans for 2 in tomato sauce, 1 x tin cannelloni beans, generous shirts of BBQ sauce and Lancashire Relish. All in together. I forgot to add the cheese (lactose free) half an hour before so added it just before serving. Served it on Thins toasted. Delicious! Thank you Pauline.
Beautiful. Added more Franks, diced tomato and fried chunks of maple bacon. Photo added to this recipe on Pinterest.
daughter cooked this today, had some for dinner and froze the rest, it must be good, there aren’t many foods she will eat.
amazing definitely full after one bowl.
Yey! Thanks so much for sharing your feedback too Erin! I always so appreciate those who do so x
Did this the other week. Was amazing. I had been feeling really low and baked beans is always a go to for me and decided to try this as a pick me up. Threw some red onion in too at the end diced very small.
That’s great to hear Krystal! So happy you enjoyed it 🙂 I’ll have to try the red onion too – yum!
Made this as brunch and the boys really liked it. I made it with cheese kransky sausages. Super easy to make, thanks for sharing recipe!
Love the idea of Kransky WP! 🙂 🙂
Tasty, filling and overall simples.I added the optional extras: capsicum, diced bacon and onion sauteed. Also used 2x 555g cans baked beans in BBQ sauce plus 700g skinless frankfurts
.Served with butter toast as per recipe suggestion 😋
Baked beans are my lifelong favourite 🙂
