This is a delicious recipe, not just for the kids but adults too. I cooked it for my brother and I tonight and we’re both loving it. Definitely going on the repeat list.

I have placed my pasta in and now it looks dry as pasta has spiked up to juice that was in there! What should I do?

Oh I’ve only found this now a day later … so sorry!
      How did you go?
We didn’t find that to be the case when we cooked ours each time?
What did you add .. a little extra water or stock?

Does the pasta really only take 30 mins to cook??

    1. Paulene @ Slow Cooker Central

Yes …. 30-40mins at most is my experience but usually 30 is plenty

Made this tonight. Very easy and tasty. I made a few changes. I added bacon and some diced carrot. I also precooked the pasta as that’s personal preference. But then added it to the cooker with some baby spinich leaves and it absorbed the juices and was very tasty . Thanks for another great recipe ?

I made this today. It cooked really well. I added onion and bacon at the start and changed it from just peas and corn to mixed veg. Accidentally added too much cheese but still tasted yummy.

Probably a really stupid question but do I stir the cheese through or just add on top?

    1. Paulene @ Slow Cooker Central

I just add it on top 🙂

I made this for 3 adults and 2 kids and we still had enough for seconds. My five year old who is an INCREDIBLY FUSSY eater, inhaled it and wants me to make it every week! Easy as to make, I ended up cooking this for 9hrs due to work and it still ended up delicious.

Cooked this tonight. Amazing! Clean plates all round. Like another person above, we added some diced bacon and onion. Hubby said it was the best pasta bake he’d ever had

    Absolutely delicious.
Easy to make with ingredients I already had at home.
I also added a diced onion.
It was a very comforting meal to have on a cold Sunday evening.
This one will be on rotation I am sure.
