EmailTweet 8 Full-screen Toad in the Hole – Egg style Breakfast, Eggs January 19, 2015 Toad in the Hole – Egg style 0 0 5 0 Prep: 5 mins Cook: 30 mins 5 mins 30 mins 35 mins Yields: Variable Ingredients1 thick slice of sourdough bread per egg eggs Fresh chives to garnish Cracked black pepper *optional* serve with bacon and tomato Directions1Cut thick slices of sourdough bread 2Use a scone cutter or glass to cut out a circle from the centre of each slice 3Butter bread if you choose to - or not if you prefer 4Turn slow cooker onto high and line with baking paper.
