Shanks LOVE slow cooking!

  • Yields: 4-6 servings


4 large lamb shanks ( or 6 small)

2 roughly chopped onions

1 small can of tomato soup

2 cups of beef stock

Shake of gravy powder


1Brown shanks in a hot pan (optional)

2Transfer to slow cooker

3Add onions, soup and stock

4Cook on low for 8 hours or until tender

5Reduce cooking liquids on stove top and wisk in some gravy powder, serve with sides of your choice (veggies, pasta, salads, hot rolls)
