Can I ask a stupid question?? Does the garlic butter still ooze out when you cut into these after cooking for 4 hours?? Or does it come out in the cooking process and become part of the sauce?? My hubby loves the ooze lol.

I tried this for the first time the other night the whole family loved it, even my fussy children. My father in law was over for dinner too and raved about how nice it was. Thanks Paulene another one to add to our list of favourites 😋

Hubby literally scraped the leftovers from the bowl and ate it directly from the slow cooker!
A hit with him and 3 out of the 4 kids!

  4. This is the easiest slow cooker meal, YOU’LL EVER MAKE! I used a jar of carbonara sauce from Aldi, crumbed chicken Kiev’s from Woolworths, Bacon, & grated mixed cheese on the top. I popped the cheese on about 10 mins before I turned the slow cooker off. Absolutely delicious

  5. Trying this tonight but i forgot the bacon😓, also when recipes are put online can we put what size slow cooker was used. This could go along with cooking time and how many it serves ( just a suggestion)

  6. Beautiful! Tried the Kiev Carbonara tonight, another hit with the family! Followed the recipe and directions exactly. Plates were licked clean and it was requested again for next week!

  8. This is one of our favourites! So quick and easy and very yummy! 😋 I’m going to make it again this week and as I have a spare leek I’m going to slice that and add it! I’ll let you know how that goes!!
