Had this last night used beef sausages added a tin of apricot halves delicious
Only thing i did differantly was use a tea towel half way through as i like a thickers sauce
I cannot get Apricot Nectar. What can I use in place of it Pauline.
Tinned apricots blitzed
Remember to look in the canned/long life juice section not the canned fruit section
I thought i would try something different and try this reciepe for Apricot Chicken Sausages and it was absolutely delicious served on mash & vegies, there was nothing leftover, will definatley make this again
Yummy, served with mash
Quick, delicious & easy! Used beef sausages could not get chicken but lovely!
Made this using herb/garlic chicken sausages~Perfect
Added carrot & broccoli to bulk it out a bit more & served with cauliflower rice
I reckon this would be so tasty with curried chicken sausages
This was a huge hit with my family and will definitely make again.
I think next time I may add a can of halved Apricots just to enhance that apricot flavour.
Served with mash and green beans
Can I use beef or pork sausages instead of chicken
Yes Cheryl you can 🙂
Winner in our house, hubby and the toddler had with pasta, I had rice.
Had this for dinner last night and it was delicious, family favourite ?
I’ve cooked this twice in the past few weeks, was a huge hit with my family.
Got to admit, I was a bit dubious but … wow. Delicious, and I am not really a sausage fan but my family love them! I love them like this!
Served with mash potato and steamed veggies!
4 clean plates was all that was left!
Would never have thought of this till seen it posted on the site this morn … made it for tea …
Love the simplicity and flavour …def make again for sure .
Loved by the whole family! We use chicken chipolatas, a large tin of apricots and add a bit of curry powder. Pop in some frozen veg towards the end.
Oh my goodness! How delicious is this recipe. The only thing different I did was cut up the sausages and didn’t cook it for the full five hours. This was absolutely delicious. We served it with brown rice. Huge fan and so simple. Thank you!
Can you use chicken thighs instead.
Yes, see HERE
Hi
I’ve run out of time today… could I do this on high for 2.5-3hours instead of 5hours low? Thanks ?
That should be fine Ebony 🙂
