The chicken cooked perfectly however the juice in the bottom of the slow cooker was not very flavoursome and I don’t think it would’ve been good enough to make a gravy.
seriously easy, and so yummy. will definitely be making again.
So great to hear! Thanks Leanne! 🙂
loved this, so easy and sooo yummy. will definitely be making again and again
I made this last night for dinner, it was so good! Chicken was so tender it fell off the bone. Grandkids and hubby went back for seconds.
That’s wonderful to hear Wendy! 🙂
This is honestly the best and easiest roast chicken, the juice left in slow cooker makes great gravy, I throw some veg in as well, then finish off in air fryer for easy roast dinner 😋
Thank you for your amazing 5 star review Helen!! 🙂
All being french onion soup lovers, this is easy and delicious, so now regular at our home when son comes to visit.

What wonderful feedback! Thanks Wendy 🙂
Absolutely amazing, I put stuffing in mine and it came out just right. Adding other veggies would go well too.
That’s great to know the stuffing worked well too – thanks Stewart! 🙂
Cooked the French onion whole chicken last night so moist will definitely doing this again, cheaper than buying a cooked chook from super market and so much tastier, thank you Pauline
Just a question could you possibly use a different soup just wondering 🤔
Love this feedback! Thanks Colleen 🙂 I don’t see any reason why you couldn’t experiment with other soups too! I’ll try some and let you know too x
Transforming a basic whole chicken into a culinary masterpiece is effortless when you toss the bird into the slow cooker with the french onion soup mix. It yields tender, fall-off-the-bone meat while magically reducing the juices into a rich, savoury gravy. 😋
Your feedback always brings me joy!!
Too easy, so good!
That is great to hear! Thanks Yvette 🙂
I did the French onion chicken in the slowcooker last night it was delicious. I made gravy with the juices I added gravy powder stirred it in and left the slowcooker on for a further 10mins for the gravy to thicken after I took the chicken out.
That’s great feedback, thanks Diana 🙂
Very simple to do, tastes absolutely delicious, I used 4 very large chicken Marylands and one packet of French Onion Soup, which was more than enough to coat the 4 pieces, no water, popped the lid on and let my SC do its magic.
So wonderful to hear you enjoyed it! And thanks so much for coming back and leaving your feedback – we so appreciate that 🙂
